Teledermatology and Virtual Consults
With the current COVID-19 pandemic in the U.S., we are offering/recommending telemedicine to help us treat our established patients without unnecessarily putting any individuals' health at risk. This is a great option for certain skin conditions, for anyone at a higher risk for infection and for non-urgent appointments. Teledermatology will help us to provide our patients with the care they need while also promoting the social distancing recommended by the CDC.
Many insurances are already covering these appointments, so please check with your plan regarding this potential option. We will be taking payment for these visits up front and then submitting to insurance. If they cover the visit, the patient will be reimbursed; but if they don't, the patient is responsible.
Please contact us with any questions and to schedule your Telederm visit! (314) 569-3323 (x5)
